As Furzie Michelle Hickman creates sculptures using just wool and a wire armature, creating pieces with character and humour. The needlefelting technique does not involve any stitching or glueing and this lends a feeling of spontaneity, freedom and naturalness to the work. Michelle has a studio in Broadwindsor in Dorset where she also teaches the craft of needlefelt.
