Will Monaghan

Will Monaghan is a Scottish artist living and working in West Dorset. He works across painting, drawing and printmaking, and is currently studying Fine Art and Painting with the Open College of the Arts. He works from places he knows and returns to, particularly Dartmoor, the Jurassic Coast and West Cornwall. He uses paint, drawing and materials found in the landscape to build up marks and surfaces rather than trying to directly copy what he sees. His printmaking includes multi-plate drypoint, solar etching and carborundum. Will is a member of Dorset Visual Arts and Poole Printmakers and has exhibited with the group.
