Making Dorset  - ‘Fifty Dorset Makers’ Only Opportunity: £75  
Fee may be paid in two instalments, October and March. Includes Standard Membership

DVA invites those selected for the ’Fifty Dorset Makers’ publication to join Making Dorset; now a permanent sub-brand of Dorset Visual Arts operating with its own distinct identity. Membership will ensure continuing association with Making Dorset and its future activities: the Winter Show in Bridport’s Allsop Gallery and a special exhibition/installation during DAW. DVA is intent on growing the successful profile achieved by the book launch exhibition at Wolfeton Riding House. On its behalf it will also enable DVA to invest the time and energy necessary to develop the on-going ambitions discussed with participant. This includes providing the partnership funding necessary to make an ACE grant application. Membership will give entitlement to all DVA benefits including member’s discount on the entry fee for Dorset Art Weeks 2018.

The driving ambition is to bring high quality design and making to new markets beyond and within Dorset to be developed further. Making Dorset aims to become recognised nationally and internationally at important fairs, in notable publications and through relationships with public and private institutions, galleries and collectors, and it’s own special events.
