Printmaking, Painting and Mixed Media

I gained a B.A. (Hons) Fine Art Printmaking, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Fine Art Printmaking from Brighton Art College in the 1980's. Since leaving college I have worked as a freelance artist, art teacher and Head of Art.
I have always loved working with still life objects from everyday life that surround me, and also observations/memories from visiting places and experiencing journeys. I build up images using colours and textures, either with paint or various printmaking techniques, including lino, collograph and relief printing. I love colourenjoy painted and printed marks, often scratching and cutting back through one layer to another, revealing colours, patterns and textures.
