A fisherman's daughter, raised on the dramatic Dorset coast, with parts of my childhood spent in Jersey, my work is greatly inspired by the natural world and particularly the ever changing sea.

Originally an illustrator, I have followed my yearning into painting and textiles, playing with various mediums and themes to create, in the main, lively abstract pieces with an element of realism.

I generally start an idea with some preliminay sketches and a quick plan, but can't wait to get going, so the paintings and designs tend to evolve fluidly as a natural progression - fun!
