Still Life and Landscape Oil Painting

Vanessa graduated from Winchester School of Art in 1993 with a First Class Honours degree in Printed Textile Design. During her time there she won the Eileen Bendall and the Sanderson Pirzes for Drawing and the Daler Rowney Young Artist Award for pastels, exhibited in the Mall Galleries, London for two years running.

Vanessa's still lives explore a subdued palette and study of dimension using familiar objects from her home. Her emergence as an oil painter was recently recognised when she had two paintings accepted into the Royal West of England Academy Autumn exhibition 2007. This coincided with a successful one-woman show at her Dorset studio.
