The essence of my sculpture is simplicity – Simplicity of line, form and fluid motion. I always work from nature and studied the shape and form of animals as well as nature its self I have developed drawing of the Dorset coastline studying the erosion and corrosion of the sea on the rocks to produce abstracted forms. My most recent work has been a series of wire animals. My love of animals means I return constantly to sculpting them.
I have been working as an artist since 1988. I studied HND ceramics at Falmouth and BA and MA sculpture at Winchester.
