For Dorset Art Weeks 2008 I made a series of paintings of scenes from country life. As a smallholder for 25 years, I know about the mud and grind of daily life as a small farmer, but this series is intended as a celebration, which hopefully shows affection and a gentle humour. Most of the unsold pieces are exhibited at The Surgery at Maiden Newton.
From now until April I am showing a large selection of my landscape work at The Nine Springs Health Centre at 70 Hendford, Yeovil, BA20 1UR. Tel: 01935 422488.
