Born in St Ives and grew up amongst artist and fishermen.
Traveled widely with young family before focusing on ceramics.
Developed stone carving techniques before going on to weld large steel sculpture. The largest being the 'Shoe' seen in Bridport in 2000 and the 'Factory Women' at Broomhill.
There are a number of public bonzes in the area
