I was a student at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art, and then taught art, before pursuing a totally unrelated career in the Army Fire Service. During those years I kept contact with my love of the natural world through photography and writing poetry, but since retirement I have joyfully rediscovered my old passion for pottery and sculpture, and at last have the time to get 30 years of ideas out of my head and into my hands.
Thrown pots, coil pots, slab pots; wood carving, sculpting in clay; I am relishing the journey of discovery.
