Birds, Animals and Flowers

I was born and educated in Zimbabwe and encouraged to paint by my mother whowas an accomplished artist. Apart from that I am self taught. I have been living in Dorset these past four years with my husband and five children andam now painting full time, or at least as full as time will allow.

I enjoy my art and find it both rewarding and relaxing. I love exploring
the reaction of washes, inks and textures on a variety of surfaces and each
new painting is an extension and hopefully an improvement on the last.
African birds painted in a humourous vein give me great pleasure, enabling
me to have real fun experimenting with colours, textures and varnishes.

I currently have my work exhibited in 15 galleries up and down the country and feel very excited about my future here in England where far greater opportunities exist.
