For Dorset Art Weeks we herald a major new talent, CLARE TRENCHARD, with a solo show of sculpture and drawings in the main upper gallery. In the Ground Floor Gallery, we are delighted to present new paintings from two of Dorset's most notable rising stars, ALEX LOWERY and VANESSA GARDINER. We celebrate the West Country launch of JULIAN BAILEY's Dorset Sketchbook with a chance to see and buy the original pastels. PETTER SOUTHALL's unadorned steam-bent oak furniture is 'exquisite in its simplicity' - Paul Atterbury of Antiques Road Show. Jewellery by the ever popular JOCELYN PARDOE, textiles by WALLACE SEWELL and craft by many more leading Dorset designer makers. Commissions are welcomed by most artists shown. Award winning cafe serves delicious salads, seafood, vegetarian and locally sourced meat lunches, snacks, coffees, cakes, cream teas and ice cream all day.
