Caz Scott

I studied sculpture in London and have been working with clay for many years, specializing in ceramic sculpture, producing mainly figurative pieces.

After moving to Dorset I studied fine art at The Arts Institute, Bournemouth, focussing on my painting.

My work reflects my fascination for form and texture, taking inspiration from the local environment to paint land and seascapes.

Currently I paint, mainly in acrylic, on handmade paper. I like to build a depth of colour and texture aiming to capture the essence of place.

I continue to sculpt using flax clay and raku firing.
