Anne-Marie originally trained as an Illustrator at St. Martins School of Art and freelanced for several years in London before moving to Cyprus,where she worked as a designer/illustrator and lecturer and ran her own Art gallery in Limassol. She returned to the U.K. in 1997, settling in Dorset and lectured in fine art ,textiles and life-drawing at Weymouth College for several years. She produces highly textured, mixed media paintings which incorporate layers of glazes and raw pigments. Anne-Marie`s work is an exploration of the power and beauty of the landscape, the constant seasonal shifts in colour, texture and atmosphere, and the emotional and spiritual essence of her environment. She exhibits in several galleries in the south-west and her work exists in private collections both in the U.k. and abroad.
