Upwey Potters

Pottery

A group of ceramicists from Upwey, north of Weymouth, making and selling their work and running Workshops, often using the Village Hall next to the Wishing Well Café.
They produce a variety of traditional and contemporary ceramics, including sculpture.
Fil Cooke : Raku and Soda glazed pottery, pyromaniac.
Maggie Cooke : translucent impressions of natural forms in porcelain.
Bill Crumbleholme : burnished & smoked and soda fired, inspired by ancient wares.
Pat March : coastal inspired stoneware slab pots, sculptures and Raku boxes.
Irene Passmore : countryside inspired plates, tiles and sculptures.
