Additional Information
John Meaker is a prolific artist continuously drawing and working in several different painting mediums with figures, landscape and abstraction. More than 25 years of experience as a teacher and mentor. He studied at St. Albans, Goldsmiths College and the Royal Academy Schools.
Amongst some uniquely sensitive artists, including Peter Greenham and Norman Blamey, J.M. was fortunate to have tutors themselves taught by Sickert, Tonks, Coldstream, Uglow and Bomberg; all british artists who play key roles in major strands of 20th century innovation and expression, spatial analysis and construction of form tradition.
