Photography, 3D work using wood, metal, stone and ceramics

My work is about surface and texture, the passage of time and water across the seen environment. It is about landscape and human interaction.

Photography is predominately colour: painterly images seize the pictorial flat from the three dimensional world. I work instinctively.

3D work is in wood and ceramics: creating clocks and assemblages from the findings of local and distant beaches.

I also teach photography and work regularly with community and disability arts groups.
