Rosemary Carter trained at Ealing School of Art and Edinburgh College of Art and has exhibited widely.

A successful contemporary artist, she is drawn to the Dorset Landscape, finding in the changing moods and massive forms a resonance with the human figure.

Increasingly interested in capturing the initial excitement and movement of her subjects she experiments with charcoal and mixed media to translate the spontaneity of initial studies into finished work without becoming mundane.
