My background is in painting. Training in art teaching and subsequently art therapy at Goldsmiths. I have become fascinated by the rich textural qualities possible by working in stitch. The pictures are often developed from the area around Toms Field and coastal path. The reflective nature of the materials creates a fascinating illusion of space and depth.
