I studied fabric-printing and painting at St Martins School of Art in London. I've illustrated more then 30 books - mainly for children.

Iam now painting experimentally, usually to a theme. This echos the way I used to move into a new world each time I developed a picture book.

Also I like to use a friend or model to work with me in exploring their own
personality and inner life. This can have a dream-like quality and can embody their own ideas of enhancing their every-day life.

I'm a member of Wessex Contemporary Arts.
