Located at the southern end of the handsome market town of Sherborne (just around the corner from Sherborne Abbey and a four minute walk to the railway station) the Alpha House Gallery has built up a reputation over the fourteen years of its existence for showing "West End of London" quality contemporary paintings, drawings sculpture and ceramics at country prices.
Our exhibitions for Dorset Art Weeks 2006 exemplify this attribute: Richard Batterham exhibiting for the first time in Dorset at the Alpha House Gallery, Dorset's leading potter with an international reputation. Ian Potts and David Ralph Simpson highly regarded painters at the top of their respective games. Keith Rand, who usually only exhibits in London, Glasgow, Edinburgh and abroad is showing in his adopted county for the first time.
