Sherborne House

Gallery showing contemporary visual art, craft

Sherborne House is an eighteenth century Grade 1 listed building, with a mural by Sir James Thornhill, and is being developed as a regional centre for the visual arts. The current gallery programmes a range of high quality exhibitions and is one of the premier contemporary art spaces in the South West. When funds are secured, the building will be fully restored and facilities improved to include a new gallery space, sculpture garden, café, studios, educational rooms and print workshop. The House will also be home to the Elisabeth Frink Archive and will feature some of her larger sculptures in the garden.
